You know you might have a problem when you are excitedly planning your next tattoo…. whilst the artist is still halfway through the outline of your current one.

At this rate I’ll be running out of prime real estate by the time I’m 30.

I couldn’t be happier.

A few of those brands/places are not available in Australia, I can’t imagine any street carts in Perth being vegan friendly. There are a few things on there I would like to try.

Alfoil Hat Time

Whenever I think something stupid or nasty when I’m walking around in public places, I always apologise for it or correct myself in my head … just on the off chance there is someone nearby who can read minds.

I love Lists

There’s something very motivating and energising about this warm Spring weather.

Positive changes I would like to make:

  • Keep making large repayments on my credit cards and don’t use them anymore for silly purchases. This way I might actually be able to afford that trip to the USA next year.
  • Attend more gym classes (Jam, Combat, Pump, RPM) because I know how much I enjoy them and they will help my fitness and weight loss efforts.
  • Try to fit in other types of exercise to change things up, like swimming.
  • Stick to Henna in my hair and stop insisting on trying to bleach/fudge it Ronald-McDonald-red.
  • Take a calmer approach to deadlines, projects and responsibilities. Getting all huffed up into a jittery stress-ball of doom doesn’t make me fun to be around.
  • Try to focus on the positives.
  • Get my moped license.
  • Get a moped.
  • Be more social and make new friends.
  • Keep the house cleaner.
  • Start to plan for building my own business as a makeup artist.
  • Practice active listening.
  • Cut down on medications and artificial sweeteners.
  • Stick to cosmetic products that are free from plastic packaging and harmful chemicals. (ie, buy everything from Lush!)
  • Be happy!

Sexual Harassment Button

HRbutton, originally uploaded by all five horizons.

We have so many harassment violations going on in our department that I decided we needed an emergency button linking directly to HR.

Probably not such a great idea as I would be the first one dobbed in. I don’t hit on anyone, but I did take the liberty of issuing Remington with 5 Man Cards that I have systematically been taking away from him.

Algaelicious

Someone brought in fund-raiser chocolates at work and placed them in front of me. Eventually my chocolate cravings drove me to the health food store across the road where I purchased one of the vegan, dark chocolate coated thingies with the strange name.

The chocolate was nice and the centre tasted like coconut with a hint of…grass. I googled Spirulina and it turns out I was eating chocolate coated algae.

Yum.

It’s not all that strange, I guess. It’s just another plant and it seems to be high in complete protein and essential algaelites.

Not Dead

I promise I’m not dead. Have just been busy with life stuff and no photos to show for it.

Although I did get my photo taken with Jewel Staite at the Supernova convention! I’ll need to scan it in and show it off.

I’m also getting a new tattoo tomorrow morning. Just a small star on my right wrist, two of my oldest friends are getting the same star.

I know, BFF tattoos! It’s lame in the good way, right?

Mosaic Meme

I could stare at this for hours. I probably shouldn’t though because it’s making me hungry and a little sad that I haven’t fulfilled my dreams.

My date with Sarah Jessica Parker

I was very bad.

I bought the Sex and the City Ultimate Collection Box Set.

For a few hours on Saturday morning I am forced to attend a Body Jam class and visit friends but as soon as it’s over… I will be glued to my TV screen, cosmopolitan in hand.

Sex and the City Box Set

The box is tall enough for me to hug, which I can’t seem to stop doing.

Psychiatric care is not required at this time, but if you see me trying to have a tea party with it and my Buffy Chosen Box, please intervene.

Mad Poets

I can now show you the image I created for Melbourne soul/funk/reggae cover band The Mad Poets. They wanted a black & white cartoon version of themselves. (Please excuse the resolution, I resized this one using some MS program at work. I will edit later with a link to a better copy.)

The Mad Poets

This was roughly sketched by hand, scanned and then finished using the pen tool in Photoshop.

So that’s not all I’ve been doing since my last post. Unfortunately I haven’t been doing much except catching up on season finales.  Supernatural and Gossip Girl were intense, Ugly Betty was lame and I haven’t seen the Lost finale yet but I’m sure it will be epic.

Oh, and I bought a sewing machine! I have ordered this book and I’m very excited to start making things.
